I love taking the opportunity with engagement sessions to have a little adventure. Walking down a new block, visiting a favorite drinking hole, checking out that place you always pass on the way to work but forget about when picking a spot to get dinner, or in this case roaming through a massive vintage building under construction on the inside. There’s a strange excitement that comes from relishing something so simple as the patterns of light created by being in an unexpected or unfamiliar place. I love that simple adventures like this let us focus on finding cool light, interesting framing and laughing together when I stand up and realize I’ve been lying in piles of pigeon poo to get that one shot. It’s cool though… I totally got it. Enjoy!
